On Tuesday, June 19th, seven high school students were inducted into the National Honor Society.
The proud new inductees were: Justin-Alexander Wilson, Dean Gutic, Gabriela Hernandez, Persis-Moitey-Doku, Caitlyn Murphy, Marieme Ndiaye, and David Olubiyi.
Alumni NHS members Seynabou Ndiaye, Lamine Sangare, and Victoria Cruz-Green were in attendance for the celebration as well.
This esteemed organization is built on four pillars that students are expected to uphold.
NHS students uphold principles of morality and ethics, is cooperative, demonstrates high standards of honesty and reliability, shows courtesy, concern, and respect for others.
NHS students have and will maintain a cumulative grade point average of 3.0 or higher.
NHS students are leaders who are resourceful, good problem solvers, promoters of school activities, idea-contributors, dependable, and persons who exemplify positive attitudes about life.
NHS students voluntarily contribute to his or her school and community, done without compensation and with a positive, courteous, and enthusiastic spirit.
