Lavelle Prep Welcomes our 8th Grade Students into High School at Annual Stepping Up Ceremony

On Tuesday, June 22nd, Lavelle Prep hosted a drive-by commencement ceremony as a bittersweet farewell to our 8th-grade students, who will be moving forward as high schoolers in the fall. With the ongoing pandemic, our school community has pulled together to push through our second year of remote learning, achieving accomplishments both big and small each day. Our team of faculty members is continuously impressed by our 8th graders for their outstanding cooperation and commitment to their studies, even in times of adversity.

“This has certainly been a year full of change for our society and for our school. We have seen difficult challenges as well as moments of joy and hope,” Acting Principal Theresa Peterford writes. “Yet through the ups and downs, you have remained steadfast. There is no doubt that as you move on to high school and beyond, that same inner strength, resilience, and persistence will shine for all to see.”

Congratulations to our newest alumni and best of luck to each of you in the future!
